Motorola is reportedly gearing up to launch a bunch of new devices including the Moto E4 and E4 Plus. The upcoming devices have been floating around the rumor mill for a long time and now, pictures of the two phones have finally found their way on the internet.
Tech tipster Evan Blass recently took to his Twitter handle (@evleaks) to give smartphone enthusiasts a brief glimpse of the Moto E4 (on the left) and E4 Plus (on the right) by posting a photo of the two phones next to each other. While the Moto logo is clearly visible on the top of the Moto E4 Plus, the E4 sports the logo on the bottom.
Moto E4 & E4 Plus Release Date
If the recently surfaced images are anything to go by, the Moto E4 and E4 Plus could arrive June 20. The speculation stems from the date shown on the displays of the two devices.
Moto E4 & E4 Plus Specifications & Features
Slated to hit the store shelves in the first half of 2017, the Moto E4 and the E4 Plus are expected to come with a 5-inch HD or FWVGA display, based on the model. Under the hood, MediaTek chipsets will be firing up the devices, which are expected to be backed by robust batteries: 2,800mAh for the E4 and 5,000mAh for the E4 Plus. Both devices will come running on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box, TheIndianExpress reported.
Moreover, the Moto E4 Plus design seems to bear a striking resemblance to the recently launched Moto G5/G5 Plus, with an identical finish. There’s a fingerprint sensor placed on the front of the E4 Plus. The feature has never been available for the Moto E line before, as AndroidPolice pointed out.
Motorola is hard at works on the successor of 2016’s Moto Z and Moto Z Force. Aside from that, there’s word floating around that the Lenovo-owned handset maker is also working on the Moto X (2017) alongside a low-priced Moto C smartphone. Source: mobilenapps
