Apple is a widely-known technology brand that has been innovating heavily, in almost every area of the field. The tech giant has been long rumored to be working on their Amazon Echo competitor with amazing features like AirPlay and Siri.
The recent leaks are courtesy of the Australian technology leaker, Sonny Dickson. Sonny has been doing technology leaks for a few years now and is a fairly reliable source in the market for rumors.
According to the leaks, Apple is in the final stages of design for its Amazon echo competitor, loaded with features like Siri, Airplay and Beats Audio. Sonny Dickson claimed that the Amazon Echo Competitor will feature total Siri and Apple Airplay compatibility, along with top of the line audio experience thanks to Beats audio. The device will be marketed as a Siri and AirPlay device with secure connections for all your smart home needs.
Sonny Dickson also disclosed that the Amazon Echo competitor had been codenamed B238 for the purposes of internal communication within Apple as a company. The design of the device will feature an Apple Mac Pro inspired outer shell and a Concave top that has built-in controls. The device is said to be relatively bigger in size, than the Amazon Echo and will have Mesh grill design on the outside.
The smart home device, dubbed B238 will supposedly be capable of controlling all types of domestic appliances, locks, lights, curtains and other accessories through Siri itself. Rumors and Reports by reputed online agencies also suggest facial detection features in the Apple device for the ultimate smart home experience. If this is true, then the B238 will turn out to be a pretty hefty Amazon Echo Competitor.
One thing is for certain, Apple has been working on the Amazon Echo competitor or the B238 for over a year now, and it is high time that the Apple community sees a release, somewhere near WWDC 2017 in June. It is only a matter of time, before you and I have Siri controlling our Smart homes and other devices. Source: koreaportal
