Not even United Airlines can drag President Trump’s poll numbers higher.
Registered voters prefer United Airlines over President Trump, a new poll released Thursday reveals.
A Public Policy Poll (PPP) indicates that 42% of Americans said they think higher of United than Trump while 40% say they favor the President. Eighteen percent said they were not sure of either option.
The airline company faced backlash when aviation officers dragged 69-year-old David Dao, a Kentucky doctor, from a flight at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on April 9.
Dao’s attorneys say they plan to file a lawsuit and claim the doctor suffered a concussion, a sinus injury, a broken nose and two missing teeth.
Dao’s case prompted United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz to publicly apologized but said he doesn’t intend on firing anyone involved in the incident.
Despite that, the poll shows that 52% of Americans have an unfavorable view of the President and 43% favor him.
Forty-seven percent of those polled don’t prefer United while there are 23% that do. In fact, 40% say United is the worst airline followed by “something else,” American Airlines, Southwest and Delta. Source: nydailynews.com
